WHL - Web Hockey League www.webhockeyleague.ca/is looking for two more GM's for the next season. This is an unbelievably awesome league that has been running since 1993! Commissioner is Michael Hebert and this league is THE inspiration for NLHS. But we use a different simulator and have active message boards, WHL has many long-term and dedicated GM's but most communication is through e-mail. Still it's a rock solid league that will be going into it's 18th season. The ratings are very different, but most of the rules are identical to NLHS since I based almost everything off of WHL. if you're interested e-mail mikey@webhockeyleague.ca and tell him that I sent you!

Okay, thanks. I've asked to take over the Miami Hooligans, and move them to Sydney, Nova Scotia, where they'll be rechristened as the Atlantic Schooners. What point are they at in the offseason?

What are your plans for the team?

The Hooligans are a pretty good team, they held on to 1st place in the Central for the first half of WHL17 but eventually my Stampede ended up winning the division. The Gorillas weren't so good, but if Justin is at the helm i'm sure they'll end up being competitive, especially if you follow my ratings guidelines.
The teams to watch out for are the Demons, Stallions, Cougars and Bulls.
also, last season the Stampede was
6-0 against the Hooligans 2-1 against the Gorillas

That record will be different next season, count on it! Also Iginla and Thomas are the highest rated players on my team at their position., and Thomas Greiss is the starting goalie for my farm team. Some things never change!

I had Greiss originally and traded him for two 5th round picks... I forget who it was, but one of the GM's BLASTED me for it saying that it was the worst deal ever and that Greiss was going to be a stud in the NHL... of course I later moved those picks to bring in Filppula and Svatos. I'd say I did okay.
