five games into the ICHL season and NLHS is representing! Justin's Devils are #1 in the league and my Islanders are #2

Daniel Sedin (NLHS) - Pavel Datsyuk (WHL) - Jarome Iginla (WHL) Ryan Clowe (WHL) - Patrick Marleau (WHL) - Patrick Kane (WHL) Curtis Glencross (NLHS) - Henrik Sedin (NLHS) - Jarome Iginla (NLHS) Drew Stafford (NLHS) - Stephen Weiss (NLHS) - Dustin Penner (WHL)
Eric Brewer (WHL) - Kevin Bieksa (WHL) PK Subban (WHL) - Alexander Edler (NLHS) Kyle Quincey (WHL) - Kimmo Timmonen (WHL)
Tim Thomas (NLHS) Marc-Andre Fleury (NLHS)
So as you can tell, I inherited a very good team in WHL, although there's not a lot of youth on the pro team. However, on the farm squad, I've got Ryan Johansen, Luke Adam, Mika Zibanejad and Thomas Greiss, to name a few.

much better than what I took over. Even though i've got players now, I had NO draft last year and one pick this year.

My WHL team, the Pasadena Patriots has no depth at all, but at least the previous GM stockpiled draft picks for this year...I have 10 picks including 4 first rounders so I can hopefully begin building a team using that!

If anyone here drafts Josi, Smith or Bourque... lets talk trade, hopefully i'll get one of them in the 2nd round.

Anyone know of any other leagues that have openings? Now that I have my laptop back and can be as active as I want...

Devils were the last unbeaten ICHL team, losing 2-1 to Montreal today.

I'm happy with how my Patriots team did with the 6 picks in the first 3 rounds of the Web Hockey League draft:
4th overall: Morgan Rielly 13th overall: Radek Faksa 22nd overall: Derrick Pouliot 25th overall: Mark Jankowski 53rd overall: Tanner Pearson 71st overall: Mattias Ekholm
Speaking of the draft, Justin took Orlov again, 5th overall...he really likes what he sees in this guy!

I hate Hershey, but both times I saw him (before he got called up), he was really a great all-around player.
Also look at his numbers in the Buffalo WJC

Who would you compare him to among NHL Defensemen? For this draft I had him at 25th on my list but I understand his all-around ability and upside, I looked at his WJ stats and its pretty impressive!

Hershey's coach compared him to John Carlson, which is quite good.

Yeah thats good. I like the NLHS format of waiting to play at least 10 NHL games before becoming eligible to play and receive a rating, but that's just me

I got Marcus Foligno, Gabriel Bourque and Ryan Hamilton. Not bad.

That's gonna be a tough rebuild project, but if anyone can do it, it's you.
