The Stars DIDN'T need to change. Their jerseys didn't suck at all, they may have been a little dated, but they're getting replaced by a bland, generic design that anyone with enough spare time could shit out on Photoshop Paint.
Carolina's new jerseys aren't bad, mainly because it wasn't radically redesigned like Dallas' were, but they just look like a Phoenix Coyotes/Team Canada hybrid now. The old jerseys gave them a unique identity, and they don't have that on their jerseys anymore.

Carolina's third is staying, by the way.

That new logo is terrible. Plus the classical striping is out of place with the italicised new logo. The whole thing would look better without the D awkwardly placed in the centre.

Did Boston really just give up TWO goals all series to the Penguins? A team with Crosby and Malkin in the lineup? RIDICULOUS!

Jagr diving in front of the crease at the end attempting to break up the play, this guy wants another Cup bad, which indicates this is his last go in the NHL.

Fun with numbers.
Jean-Sebastian Giguere, 2003 WCF: 4-0, 0.22 GAA, .991 SV%
Tuukka Rask, 2013 ECF: 4-0, 0.44 GAA, .985 SV%
Giguere was facing another Cinderella team in Minnesota.
Rask played a team with Crosby and Malkin on it.
Which do you think was the better performance?

I remember that Anaheim-Minnesota series like it was yesterday though.
