The Nova Scotia Titans have traded defenseman Alexei Emelin, the Cambridge Hornets 1st Round Draft Pick in the NLHS4 Draft, the Nova Scotia Titans 1st Round Draft Pick in the NLHS4 Draft, and the Kitchener Herbalists 2nd Round Draft Pick in the NLHS4 Draft to the Kitchener Herbalists. In exchange, the Nova Scotia Titans receive forward and long time Herbalists Captain Jonathan Toews. Toews scored 138 points in 122 career games with Kitchener. "I am very pleased to add Jonathan Toews to the Nova Scotia Titans. He is an outstanding player who will push the Titans to greater heights, and be a solid leader!" Toews is now teammates with the hated Sedin twins. Congrats, Jonathan. I LOVE Toews, but that's a nightmare scenario for a Chicago Blackhawk fan.

So far, the new additions to the Nova Scotia Titans have proven to have paid off very well.
Rick Nash has scored 7 goals & 14 points in 10 games, and is tied for the Titans scoring lead with Henrik Sedin.
Jonathan Toews has scored 3 goals & 5 points in 7 games, and has proven to be a great leader. He's even made amends with the Sedin brothers, with whom he used to have a fierce rivalry.
Vincent Lecavalier has scored 3 goals & 8 points in 10 games with Nova Scotia.
Curtis Glencross & Stephen Weiss haven't fared too badly themselves either in Kitchener, with Weiss amassing 6 assists (no goals) and Glencross has scored 7 goals & 10 points, averaging a very respectable point per game since arriving in Herbalists Country.

Halifax to Host NLHS3 All-Star Game Titans EcstaticPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - The whole province of Nova Scotia celebrated wildly when the news was revealed early this evening that the city of Halifax would be playing host to the NLHS3 All-Star Game! Owner/General Manager Jonathan Hiseler received word at about 7:20PM local time that the Halifax Metro Centre would be playing host to the festivities. "I don't know if there are any words that can describe how excited I am that the stars of NLHS will be convening here in Halifax to showcase their talents!" he said in a telephone interview just a few minutes ago. "I would also like to take this moment to congratulate Dan Brown and what a fine bid he made for Kansas City. I definitely think the Scouts should get the honor next year, their management, team and fans most certainly deserve it." All sorts of names are being floated around to see who from the Titans will get selected to play for the Wales Conference All-Star Team. Daniel Sedin (One of the top left wings in the league), Henrik Sedin (Leads league in shorthanded goals, one of the best face-off takers in the league), Vincent Lecavalier (Even better face-off take than Henrik Sedin), Jarome Iginla, Jonathan Toews, Marek Zidlicky (One of the top defensemen in the league), Tim Thomas and Rick Nash (Leads league in powerplay goals), but it’s up for the GM’s to decide.
