I almost made an offer on Selivanov, but went up front with Presley instead.
Gotta try to trade Domi now to stay under $17M and avoid the luxury tax. Seems to be one of the more odd things with ICHL... pro roster is limited to 20... so you don't have any scratches once you dress 12 F, 6 D and 2 G... I asked Chris about it and he said he might change it for next season after I pointed out that to make any minor change to your lineup you need to call-up and send-down... really sucks to expose your vets to waivers and means that the young guys almost surely won't play a lot of times even if they're slightly more skilled than another guy who has to go through waivers.

That sound you heard was Ryan's head exploding when I picked Erat 9th overall in the 1999 ICHL Draft

but if you're ever staging re-enactments of "Night Court" in the locker room, Domi would be a shoe in for Bull... although nearly a foot shorter. But really, you need him.
My locker room does "The Ellen Degeneres Show", and Erat is the lead!

Kind of amusing how I traded one third of the Vowel Line (Orszagh) and drafted another third (Erat). lol

The 1999 Draft sucks tremendous ass.
Especially with some questionable picks in the ICHL....Brendl in the first round? And how, in a two-round draft, were Juraj Kolnik, PATRIK STEFAN, and Oleg Saprykin drafted?
I got Erat and Havelid...not bad if I do say so myself

That was the first draft I ever read about as a hockey fan. The NHL 2000 draft was the first I ever watched.

Although it will pretty much be the Islanders playing keep-away, toying with the inferior Devils and filling the New Jersey net with pucks!

How do the player ratings change from season to season in ICHL, and how do the incoming players from the draft get rated?

their ratings have to do with their entire career I think, and the sim determines when they retire. it's the 1999 season and Pat Lafontaine is still my star player.

Interesting system. It will be interesting how the league will introduce the new millennium players.
