You do a good job of drafting, between him, Henrique, and Lehner, you sure know your AHLers, and having season tickets to WBS certainly gives you an advantage.

don't forget Cizikas, Strait, and Moore.
I don't intend on picking anyone who isn't eligible for NLHS right away unless i somehow wind up with the chance to snag McDavid.

Can't wait till monday... already put in a few tweaks to the lineup. If only Tavares could skate 60 minutes. He broke into the Legion's top 5 all-time for scoring today, despite appearing in just 78 games so far.

Will the home team curse continue or will Moncton head back to the City of Brotherly Love with the dagger in their hands and the Legion on the ground?

Bringing Cleary up to the second line really paid off today! A win on Wednesday and the Legion will make another appearance in the conference finals!

A loss and it comes down to a big, must-watch, all-or-nothing Game 7.
You played your top two lines 85% of the time in Game 5 dafuq

changed some tactics. Bang some bodies. Make sure their top units are writhing in pain. Backes...remember that Anyone-That-Isn't-American-Must-Die fight spree you did before the Olympics? DO IT AGAIN.

BTW...
anyone surprised by the Legion's success in the playoffs despite being the 7th seed? Don't be. The regular season record is very misleading. In NLHS2, we just had an amazingly stacked roster featuring Lecavalier, Briere, Nash, Kessel, Marleau, Weber and Suter. It would have been hard to NOT win with that talent on the ice.
This season though, with a cup already in the trophy case and the impending salary cap (plus a desire to spread the talent around for the good of the league and new GM's), I wanted to do more experimenting. That led to a severely depleted roster that went just .500 through the first 46 games of the season, at which point we hit the all-star break. That's when I realized that if something didn't change, the Legion were not going to make the playoffs. So instead of just relying on stacking all of the talent on my top lines and simply overpowering the opponent offensively, I had to really look at how the game works and create a lineup based on what I believed would be a winning strategy.
Since the all-star break, the team has played 48 games and is 10 games above .500... a pace that would have put the team around 51 wins in the regular season and would have had us in the mix for the President's Trophy.
