For high school football...
My school, Pocono Mountain East puts up 28 points in the first half en route to a 39-12 demolition of Dieruff, who was playing their first game in the Mountain Valley Conference. Play of the game was an 80 yard touchdown late in the first half by senior WR Kyle Harris. Could have been worse if we didn't play our backups in the second half. Blooper of the night was Dieruff's QB throwing a pass, but hitting the ref in the head and knocking him over.
Interesting fact: both of our kickers played soccer last season.

My high school team didn't fair too well last season, don't remember their exact record, but I think it was something like 2-6. The only thing about the provincial high school football league is that there's a school in Halifax that is about over 9000 times better than any other school in the province. Heck, they're likely one of the best in the whole country, like top 30! The school is only about 5 or so years old, and was a combination of two powerhouses, which in turn causes guys from all over the HRM to transfer to there.

My school made it to playoffs last year but had to forfeit because there was an outbreak of mono.
We also won the Tier 2 championship back in 2008, which was only the second year of the team's existance. Mind you, there are only two tiers for football, and four divisions for most other sports.

There were times last season where we were on both ends of that score... our program is not as strong as it was when it first started, and it almost folded last year.
However, our rival high school made it to the Tier 1 final, but they lost to the previously mentioned high school from Halifax.

Last year we could have been even better....our QB is easily one of the best in the conference. Unfortunately he's made of glass...got hurt in the first game against Dieruff (again), came back for the Bucket Game against Pleasant Valley, and then got hurt again. Fortunately our running back, who's in my year, ran for 777 yards. This year, 1,000 yards may not be out of the question for him, he's impossible to take down...

It gets more and more painful to watch the Red Sox every day.

Why haven't they fired Bobby Valentine already?

Because they're stupid and would rather trade the players who hate him...firing Francona was a mistake

I think the bigger mistake was hiring Valentine in the first place
