From Pierre Lebrun's Twitter account:
"Said one NHL team exec on the draft floor: "I bet you we see 10 trades today at least." "

If the Jets trade Kane, we need to fire the entire front office. ESPECIALLY the shitty head scout. His track record sucks tremendous ass.

Who, Mark Hillier? What has he done, or not done, for that matter?

I would be pretty surprised. I'd think after the captain, he'd be the least movable forward. He's just starting to come into his own. I still think he should have been the #1 pick in his draft.

Who, Mark Hillier? What has he done, or not done, for that matter? Marcel Comeau. His track record outside of the top 15 is BAD. VERY BAD.

Also, the Phoenix Coyotes have signed Mike Smith to a 6-year deal worth about 5.7 million a year.

Outside of the top 15, his 9 years have crafted just 2 NHL regulars. That excludes potential future regulars who have played in the NHL in Paul Postma, Zach Redmond, and Jeremy Morin.

I meant to say at the time I thought he should have went 1, but I still wouldn't be surprised if he ends up better than Tavares. Power forwards usually take a little extra time.
