Shero winning GMOTY is a JOKE. A fucking JOKE.
Murray should have won...I wouldn't even have minded Bergevin who was a freakin' rookie.

Balance was restored by Harding winning the Masterton. Damn fucking straight he did.

If I was a GM for another team I wouldn't have even bother putting up a nominee for the Masterson.

If I was a GM for another team I wouldn't have even bother putting up a nominee for the Masterson. Basically. MS is truly brutal...some guy I know's uncle has it and it confined him to a wheelchair. The only thing that could have topped Harding is if someone got, and survived, cancer.

Yeah, and there have been a number of players who have been in the situation, such as Saku Koivu, Jason Blake, Mario Lemieux, John Cullen and Phil Kessel.
Jamie McLennan also won the award after nearly dying because of bacterial meningitis. As a back-up goalie for the Blues, he finished the season with a record of 16-8-2 in the 1997-98 season.

The Koivu one hit me right in the feels...8 minute standing O in the game he returned and even Ottawa players were tapping their sticks on the ice.
I honestly want him to win a Cup before he retires.

He's the reason I have a second favourite team in Anaheim, and I really hope that he wins it at least once before he retires, for he is definitely the most deserving out of any player in the league, in my opinion.
