That is disgusting Justin.
I hate the crackdown on interference. They did it coming out of the last lockout and it was just an exchange of powerplays, a series of extremely weak calls and just some pretty terribly hockey IMO. It hasn't been as bad this time, but there are still too many ticky-tacky calls being made.
I prefer the late 90's clutch and grab, get physical, get a stick on a guy, get your body on a guy... earn your space on the ice.
The league mistakenly thought that fans weren't interested because it was slower and lower scoring. I say it was just a down period for star players, a lot of the greats from the 80's were at the end of their career or retired, and the new guys didn't live up to their hype. Jagr was the only one who really kept it going.
Then they opened it up in 2005, made it a power play fest and enhanced the speed of the game. They also increased the questionable calls, made the game too fast for the casual fan to get on board with and blew concussions through the roof.
I thought that last season was the best since the lockout because they had eased up on the interference. It wasn't "dead puck" hockey, it was just hard fought physical hockey. Hopefully it doesn't take as long to get back there this time, like I said they aren't as bad coming out of this lockout as the last one, so maybe we're not far off from a good balance again.

There is no way I could defend that call at all... so bad. I thought the one on Plekanec was awful, but this is just... I don't know what to say...

Rumors have surfaced that the owner of the Portland Winterhawks may be interested in buying the Phoenix Coyotes, but whether that would entail a move to the Rose Garden in Portland isn't so guaranteed, as Paul Allen has been quoted as saying that he wouldn't want a team in direct competition with his Portland Trail Blazers of the NBA, as it doesn't make financial sense. But who knows, maybe we'll see the Portland Coyotes or Portland *insert name here* someday.

Apparently there's a photo of someone with a similar getup from the San Jose Sharks home opener this season.

Preds beat the Blues 6-1 after they had scored just 12 goals in the first 8 games.
Colin Wilson was in beast mode tonight, completely dominated the Blues defense.

Scheifele sent down to Barrie... Major bummer for my Scouts. Guess we wait (impatiently) another year for his arrival.

PK Subban scored a few minutes after Will Smith received his very own P.K. Subban jersey. Coincidence? I think not.

Sucks that they kept him up so long, just playing with your emotions! lol at least the dispersal draft should help ease the pain of the waiting game. Plus you'll get to see him every day in farm league action next year!

Colin Wilson with another goal tonight, Preds up 2-0 on the Kings about halfway through.
This guy is on my 4th line right now out of necessity, but if he keeps this up his re-rate will have him solidly on the pro squad!
