They're simply just a two line team, especially with Staal gone, and their defense outside of Orpik and Letang is downright awful.

And I don't even have any of the pieces left that I got in return for him lol

though it has eventually worked it's way into the Aces 1st round pick. So if that leads to a stud scorer (MacKinnon, Barkov, Drouin, Monahan) then it could definitely be worth it in the long run.
