I think the atmosphere in Minny is a direct relation to the boring as fuck style of play.
Imagine if they had fans like Jets fans. Man would Jets-Wild games be AWESOME

Holy Christ, Taresenko is scary good. Hey Texans, if prospects are in the dispersal draft, are you taking him with the first pick? I'm pretty sure he'll get to the ten games required to lose the prospect tag at this point. My preference would be to select a franchise goalie (build from the net out), but if he keeps up this pace I'd probably have to. I was kind of hoping he'd have a slow year and I might be able to grab him in round two, but it doesn't look like that will be happening.

You can get goalies even in the free agent draft, though they are long in the tooth. You've got Subban there too probably still there in round 2.

Erat and Legwand lead the Preds in the 3rd period to a 3-1 win. Only goal the Wild got was tipped in off Kevin Klein's glove... oh and Ryan Suter was -2 tonight

Preds get the Blues again tonight... outshot 20-7 in the first two periods, that SUCKS.
Obviously they are losing 2-0. Berglund scored on a penalty shot, interestingly enough he scored on a penalty shot on Jan 24th, 2012 also.

Dallas beating the Blackhawks 2-1 after 2. Lehtonen is on fire. Hawks should have 5-6 goals. Keith just saved a puck from going in on Crawford to close out the period. Duncan gets maligned by a lot of people. I love the guy. He sacrificed his front teeth to win the Hawks Stanley Cup. The man has played a TON of minutes. The lockout rest probably did him a lot of good.

The Blackhawks start the season 4-0!
The Hawks best two starts came in the early 70s. They opened the 71-72 season with 5 consecutive wins and 4 consecutive wins in 72-73.
They go for #5 Saturday night in Columbus. If they can win that, they would face Detroit in Chicago with a chance to set a new all-time mark. It would be sweet indeed to get it against the Red Wings.
Then the Hawks start an extended road trip to accomodate Walt's pesky rodent aka Disney on ice.
