![](http://www.heleneboudreau.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/chronicle-herald-100h.jpg) Titans pick in Dispersal Draft Training Camp Starts TomorrowPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter OWEN SOUND, Ontario - The Nova Scotia Titans made their three picks in the NLHS Dispersal Draft today. In the first round, the Titans selected Right Wing Pierre-Alexander Parenteau, formerly of the Beauport Harfangs. In NLHS1, Parenteau had 7 goals and 22 points in 76 games as the 4th line RW. With the Titans, he'll be on the 4th line. In an interview with The Chronicle Herald, Parenteau was optimistic with his fortunes with his new team. "I realize that I'm going to have much more responsibility with the Titans, and I can't wait to fly up to Owen Sound for Training Camp!" In the second round, the Nova Scotia Titans selected Right Wing Chad Larose, who used to play for the Chatham (now Toronto) Maroons. Larose was a 4th liner with the Maroons, but with his new organization, he will be on the first line of the Cape Breton Clippers, alongside Tyler Ennis and T.J. Oshie. With their third and final pick in the dispersal draft, the Titans selected Left Wing Jeff Tambellini, who used to belong to the old Exports farm team. Tambellini didn't see much time with them, and up in Cape Breton, Tambellini will only be on the 4th line, but will still be an important part of the organization nonetheless. Jonathan Hiseler also commented on the posthomous selection of Forward Rick Rypien, who was found dead at his home yesterday in Alberta. "I think what Justin Fox did was a very selfless act, and we will honour his memory here in Nova Scotia too! In other news, training camp will start tomorrow in Owen Sound, Ontario. Look for special reports from the Owen Sound Sun-Times here in The Chronicle Herald in the coming days!

Fans were lining up at 7am just to catch a glimpse of some of the players and get their autographs. The highlight of the day was of course the intra-squad game, in which Team Black, led by Daniel Sedin, Tuukka Rask and Chris Pronger, defeated Team White, led by Milan Lucic, David Krejci and Marc-Andre Fleury. Daniel Sedin had 2 goals and 1 assist, while Tuukka Rask made 28 saves for the win. On Team Black, Jason Pominville had 1 goal and 2 assists while Marc-Andre Fleury made 25 saves in a losing effort. ![](http://storage.canoe.ca/v1/page_components-prd-static/owensoundsuntimes/v1/header/logo.jpg?t=1309198265) Day 3 of Training Camp The "Pummel Line" is christenedGeorge Cridland, Sports Reporter OWEN SOUND, Ontario - Day 3th of training camp is well under way here at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound, and some surprises have emerged, particularly the Titans projected second line, which consists of Milan Lucic, David Krecji and Jason Pominville. The players have been making a name for themselves here at training camp with their gritty play and determination. Although their intra-squad group Team White lost to Team Black again, with today's score being 3-1, the players hard work has most certainly not gone unnoticed. During a mid-afternoon press conference, General Manager/Owner Jonathan Hiseler gave them the nickname "The Pummel Line". "These guys have shown tremendous dedication to the team, and they're the kind of players that will just pummel the other team into submission, a line that's the heart and soul of the team." Another entertaining event occurred today when Coaches Patrick Roy, Patrice Brisebrois, Guy Carbonneau, and former Montreal Vikings Right Wing Georges Laraque took part in a shootout. Inspired by the Dallas Pistol's training camp, the shootout took place in a last man standing format. And in an unsurprising turn of events, Georges Laraque won, going 4 for 5. Titans and Clippers merchandise went on sale on Monday, and after 4 1/2 days of sales, Daniel Sedin's home jersey is the top selling, with Marc-Andre Fleury, Jeff Carter, David Krecji and Jason Pominville rounding out the top 5. On the Clippers, Pavel Kubina's jersey was the top selling one, with Derrick Brassard, Tyler Ennis, Stephen Weiss and Pierre-Marc Bouchard being other top sellers.

An evening intra-squad game was held here tonight at the Harry Lumley Bayshore Community Centre in Owen Sound.
The game was later than earlier ones have been because of the resident Ontario Hockey League's Owen Sound Attack also having their training camp right now as well. The defending OHL champions are more then delighted to share the arena with them.
Team White won for the second straight match, coming away with a 3-0 shutout over Team Black. Marc-Andre Fleury made thirty saves for the shutout, and Jason Pomminville had one goal and two assists in the win. On Team Black, Tuukka Rask made 30 saves as well in his losing effort.
On another note, it is believed that cuts to the roster will start occurring within the next couple of days, starting Tuesday a the absolute latest, and then the final cuts will occur a couple of days after that.
