Beasts Announce Partnership with Vermont Cynic Partnership to begin next seasonBy: Blake Wright The Vermont Cynic, the critically-acclaimed and award-winning student newspaper at the University of Vermont, will be the Vermont Beasts' newspaper media partner when the affiliation changes hands from the Philadelphia Legion to the Moncton Mariners next season, we can report. The other media partners will remain the same. WRUV, also owned by the university, will have all the games on the radio, while WCAX will air all 84 Beast games and the 5 preseason home games on TV.

Beasts' New Jersey Leaked Features new logoBy: Blake Wright The Vermont Beasts' new home jersey for next season was leaked today. If the leak is accurate, the team redesigned their logo. The design of the jersey is based off of this year's UVM Catamounts throwback that was worn to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the school's hockey program. More info as it comes along.

Beasts Name 2014 Coaches Former Catamounts return to BurlingtonBy: Blake Wright The Vermont Beasts, next year's proud affiliate of the Moncton Mariners, have hired their head coach for their first season under Mariner tutelage. Former Vermont Catamount and US Olympian Aaron Miller was hired by the Beasts' new parent club today to take the head coaching reigns. He is joined by two new assistant coaches, both of whom also attended UVM: Dominique Ducharme, who had been coaching the Halifax Mooseheads, and Martin Wilde, a former Calder Cup Champion who last played for HC Bolzano in Elite.A, the top league in Italy. Another former Catamount, Christian Soucy, will be the team's goaltending coach.
