Moncock couldn't pull out the W, huh? What a surprise! Says the guy who beat Ottawa (no offense to Rob but that team ain't good) by ONE freaking goal. Besides, NST were right behind me last year...their 11 game win streak or whatever gave me a scare at the end. Did some line juggling, should be good to go tomorrow. A win is a win, I don't care if the score is 5-1, 2-1, 1-0, it's all the same 2 points in the end.

I'll be laughing when you're hiding next Wednesday (according to my moron math) when I snag two points against your Misfits in blowout fashion then =P

Fun fact: The Mariners are 11-12-1 all-time in October.

Okay, so that didn't go so well....swept by our archrivals...ouch.
Looks like it's back to the drawing board.

Meanwhile on the farm, ANOTHER defenseman down to injury, and a loss too. Sigh...

I thought I was going to have AT LEAST till 5 to submit my lines, as there were some drastic changes made.

With the back-to-back rival games out of the way to kick off the season, we can now settle down to business and really get into the long grind of the NLHS season.
Legion are very pleased to grab both games against the Pistols. I know it says Dallas at the bottom of the standings right now, but they are going to quickly reverse that.

Going more offensive against Joplin Kansas City.
I forgotted how to schedule read.
Also, nice pickup by the Tigers. Gleason would be awesome if his skating was better.

Very nice. Plug Crosby back in and he nets 2. Stamkos with a trio of assists and Marleau, my preseason ghost, a goal and assist! Metros are 2-0!!! So thrilled. I haven't been so pleasantly surprised since I went on that crazy streak after trading for Kessel around this time last year.

Drew Miller for the Hipsters rips the Salmon Kings for 4 goals. Maybe he is playing with a chip on his shoulder after being demoted at the start of the season...

M's made some adjustments and d-pair changings. Gudas will play with MacD on the shutdown pair, Enstrom will move the puck with Pietrangelo

Line up will stay the same here, don't want to disrupt whatever has gotten into this team. Luongo is a wall, defense is better than expected, and Marleau-Crosby-Stamkos has my grinning from ear to ear. Really would love to see this trio tear it up all season long.
