I do wonder, though. What would it be like if Gore or Kerry defeated Bush? All Kerry needed to really do was win Ohio...and the Gore election, I swear, was rigged. Hanging chads, lol. Hope Obama's people are watching Florida carefully this time...

And Obama has a 9 point lead or something like that there.

That's more likely than people would think. A third Bush as President just freaks me right out of my mind

I'd love to see a second Clinton, though. ESPECIALLY after that speech by Bill at the DNC.

Kerry I think would have been a one and done. Gore though, I don't know. Would be interesting to see how it would have gone down.
I am glad I am out of Alabama. When people start threatening the president, I call it a day and get the fuck out. I know they don't mean it, but the political tension is nerve racking when you are a liberal yourself. I was called a communist on a number of occasions because I supported universal healthcare as I view it to be an essential right.
I can understand some peoples views on keeping it private, but having experienced both sides, I'd take a slightly longer waiting time any day than be denied coverage because I forgot to disclose I had acne as a teen when I have stage four cancer. I can find the link if someone wants to read the story, but the fore-mentioned truly happened. Made me sick.

I think Dan - a liberal in Kansas, another hardcore Republican state - could probably relate

I hope to move to civilization soon. My area of PA is rather split, however, it's strongly Democrat because of Philly's Democrat dominance. Parents are center-right, my brother lives out in the Windy City so he's center-left, whereas I'm as far left as you can go!

Election in key swing states as we speak:
Colorado - Obama 49%, Romney 45% Florida - Obama 49%, Romney 45% North Carolina - Obama 47%, Romney 47% Ohio - Obama 49%, Romney 43% Virginia - Obama 48%, Romney 45%
...It should really not be this close, considering all of R(money)'s recent blunders.
