Canada barely gets by the tough and hardy nation of Slovenia 4-3 in overtime. The only game that topped this one so far was France and their third-string goalie beating Russia!

Hawks v Wings... on my new, and FREE, 55" TV!
my mom is moving and gave us her TV because it was too big for her new place. Pretty sweet deal, this thing is huge and has a great picture. It's like sitting in the mid-level at the arena. Unbelievable!

why does the NHL suck at scheduling?
Why not start the Hawks/Wings three hours later today at 4 EST... that lets the west coasters do their morning thing (shopping and whatever) and then watch the game at 1 PST. Then start the Kings/Sharks at 4 PST... then it's starting at a regular time for the rest of us at 7 EST.
You're also creating a 6 hour block of hockey this way, so casual fans who are just flipping through channels anytime in the afternoon are bound to stumble on a game.
The way it's currently scheduled today, the Hawks/Wings will start at 10am on the west coast, nobody there is going to watch that. And the Kings/Sharks is starting at 9pm on the east coast, which nobody there is going to watch.
It annoys the crap out of me that the NHL doesn't step in and dictate when these games start to maximize their exposure.

If you're Paul MacLean, do you start Anderson or Lehner tomorrow? I'd go with the rookie; he's very good in clutch games

It'll be Sweden vs. Switzerland for the IIHF Championship tomorrow, with each team earning 3-0 victories over Finland and the US respectively.
