Big trade has a big payoff for the Legion! 8-1!
Daniel Sedin with 2 goals for the Titans! Gerbe and Parenteau have 4 points each as the Clippers win 7-4! The Titans give the Wanderers their first loss of the season, and Nathan Gerbe is named the NLHS Farm 1st star of the day with his 2 goals and 2 assists.

Thoughts on the Olympians 7-4 win:
-Elliott solid
-Great performance by the Rupp-Bouma-Smith energy line
-Peter Mueller in beast mode, 2 goals, 2 assists, and winning key faceoffs - next candidate for call-up
-Bobby Butler also scoring 2
-How Ryan Shannon was -2 is beyond me
Thoughts on Mariners 4-3 edging of the Aces:
-Should not have been that close
-Leino goal in debut = #winning
-Major penalty for kneeing on Letang - lolwut
-Vokoun solid
-Meszaros with an off night
-Backes with 2 points but a -1

Titans have the second highest PIM-per-game rate in the league, behind only New York. Braydon Coburn getting ejected today for unsportsmanlike conduct certainly bumped up that statistic.
The Titans, along with Philadelphia and Los Angeles, have not allowed a goal on the power-play yet this season. Montreal, Phiadelphia and Chicago have yet to score on the power-play. The Titans are 3rd in PP+PK, 3rd in GAA, 4th in goals for/against and14th in hits.

Also, St. Louis blitzing the Aces for 4 goals and an assist....nice! And the Aces somehow still kept it close! Nice work by New York to keep games close thus far.
Also, what the FUCK happened to the Bootleggers' D?

Both my teams are almost non-existant when it comes to most stats, yet they are 4th overall in both leagues. Having great goaltending and having the leaders in face-off percentage in both leagues helps, I guess.

Damn St. Louis and the fact that my D, usually the strongest part of my game, sucked.

Former Legionnaires (Eric and Jordan) each had 2 points today... Lecavalier was scoreless. Wranglers defeat Legion as Miller tops Rinne in Shootout...
Hey hockey gods, it wasn't supposed to work that way!

Losing to the Aces was bad, but the Clippers are quite possibly the best farm team out there right now. Hopefully they aren't affected by me trading away Byfuglien and Little.

STUPID PERRY!! Ugh. Two straight games one player destroys me single-handedly. Whatever, bring on the Huskies (even though we've never won in Nashville)
