Legion finally scored some goals though! Korpikoski is my defensive specialist, but he took the first star today for his offensive contributions!

Of all teams to be the first to beat Kitchener, it's the Pistols. Took them a shootout though.
I must admit the parity in NLHS so far is awesome, with only LA, Toronto, and the defending champion Nordiques with less than four points.

Good win for the Titans over Nashville.
Also, who watched the Jets-Canadiens game last night?

Yeah, Oduya kinda gifted those first two goals to Montreal. Not that I'm complaining. But it's good to have the Jets back in the league!

1) Its good having another team in Canada, bring back the Nordiques and were all set again lol 2) Big win for the Habs who seems to always struggle against the Jets/Thrashers franchise 3) WHY Cams getting cut? Why couldn't Gomer dive and use his face or throat to block the skate? Lol 4) Hopefully my Habs didn't use up all their scoring before their home opener Thursday against the Flames
YES I'm a HABS fanatic and have their symbol tattooed on my right calf to always show my support for the Bleu, Blanc et Rouge.. So YES, that means Carey "Jesus" Price, PK Subbanator and Max "Patches" Pacioretty will NEVER be traded as I hold more (even tho biased) value for them then anyone else in the league.. My thought process, not yours.. Get over it if you don't agree because I won't understand the language your speaking/typing lol.
And to Justin, I needed a last minute goal (18 seconds left in the 3rd) just to tie it up and at least secure 1 point, the kids must be wearing down already hahaha

Don't worry Dave... that's why i've got Legwand, Erat, Suter and as many other Preds as I do on my squad. Legwand will NEVER be traded, not even for a package of Stamkos, Crosby and Ovechkin

I have only one Jet even though I'm a diehard fan lol
Tough to be a fan of a Manitoba team in Pennsylvania, home of Penguins bandwagoners who think Crosby is the be-all-end-all. Then again, I have it easy, my friend has to stay up til 10 (we get up at 6 for school) to watch his team (sharks) lol, just a quick google search for a stream
Anywho, a nice win for the M's who give the Herbalists their first regulation loss of the season, now tied for second in the division with the Titans.
Also, I don't know what it is with the Citadels/Wanderers, 6 in a row to start, last year they also started out with 6 straight games with a point. Coincidence? Only time will tell.
Also, the scoring race should be exciting this year! A 5 point performance by Ryan Callahan overthrows Joe Thornton from #1!

I'm glad the Clippers won today.
I only have one player in the Canadiens system, that being Louis Leblanc.

home of Penguins bandwagoners who think Crosby is the be-all-end-all. It's worse in his home province, believe me. The media here never shuts up about how great he is. And they are all under this stupid conception that he'll come back better than ever from his concussion. I'm pretty confident that the next time Crosby gets a hit like the ones that caused his concussion, he'll be done for.

Most of the STHs are fans of other teams (I'm a Jets fan, there are a ton of Flyers fans and I know a few Wings fans). But when Pitt started being good, more Pitt bandwagoners came, annoying the piss out of everyone else.

Also, looks like the Olympians are starting to wake the hell up. 3 points in their last 2 games after 1 in their first 4....I'd send Elliott down but don't want to risk him getting claimed on waivers.

Crosby could come back strong, look at Bergeron. Everyone thought his career was over and even though he isn't a point per game guy now, he did have a great playoff and won a cup.
Bob Ley did a good show on this subject on "Outside The Lines" where he discussed Crosby and a baseball player, detailed the exercises they are doing in an attempt to come back 100%. They showed how (certain) doctors have begun practices that are effective, rather than the old way of waiting till the guy feels better and send him back out, which led to higher rates of second, or third concussions. It is frustrating to see a superstar sidelined for so long, but if he comes back close to or at 100% and is able to play another 10-15 seasons, that's much better than 2-3 more seasons and 2-3 more concussions that destroy his life.
As much praise as Crosby gets, he gets an equal amount of grief. Many people have hated him since before he even entered the league simply because of the hype that he generated. I'm not really a Crosby fan, but I am glad that I get to watch such a talented player in today's game. He most likely would have gone over 150 last season, that doesn't happen often, so I figure it's better to simply enjoy watching that show than to have a negative outlook and miss the ride.

I think Crosby comes back and picks up where he left off after a few weeks of tentative play, but thats more optimism due Crosby being my offense, generating goals via Iginla.
