Pending league approval, the Nova Scotia Titans have traded Derek Roy and Tomas Vokoun to the Dallas Pistols in exchange for the Winnipeg Jets' 1st Round Pick in the NLHS3 Draft and Darren Helm. It is rumoured that neither players were going to be protected for the upcoming expansion draft.

Adams Division teams almost set Expansion team announced in Kansas CityPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - The teams that will call the Adams Division home are close to being finalized. Along with the previously established Nova Scotia Titans, Kitchener Herbalists, Ottawa 67's and Montreal Wanderers, the Adams Division will add two expansion teams, with the first one being the Kansas City Scouts. Expansion has been very successful so far, with teams being founded in Minneapolis, San Antonio, Barrie, New Jersey and London. Only two more spots are left, and then the expansion draft will occur not too long afterwards.

Parenteau, Frans Nielsen, Clarke MacArthur, Pavel Kubina, Steven Kampfer and Jay Harrison, all players who will more than likely be taken fairly early on in the expansion draft.

NLHS Expansion Completed Kentucky joins Adams DivisionPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - The final two NLHS expansion teams were awarded today, to Kentucky and Regina. The Kentucky Racers will call the Adams Division home, while the Regina Renegades will stake claim to the last expansion team slot in the Norris Division. The NLHS Expansion Draft is expected to take place in a couple of weeks.

Expansion Draft Starts Former Titans go highPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - The first two rounds of the NLHS Expansion Draft occurred today. Some former Nova Scotia Titans went to new teams today. The first pick, which was announced yesterday by Minneapolis Millionaires GM Christian Libezeit, saw defenceman Braydon Coburn, who started the NLHS2 season with the Titans, go to the state of 10,000 lakes. Going 4th overall to London was another defenceman, Dustin Byfuglien, who started his season with the Cape Breton Clippers, but was traded to the Canadian capital in the Tim Thomas trade. The next player drafted was Cape Breton Clippers hero P.A. Parenteau, who will now call Kansas City home. Rounds 3, 4 & 5 of the expansion draft will happen on Wednesday. Expansion Draft Continues 6 Titans/Clippers claimedPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - 6 more members of the Nova Scotia Titans organization were picked up by new teams as the Expansion Draft continued today. The first one to go was goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov, who will now reside in Minnesota. Two picks later, Frans Nielsen learned he was headed to New Jersey. The Barrie Colts were greeted with thunderous applause when it was learned that they had selected Clarke MacArthur. To close out the Third Round, the Kentucky Racers selected Kyle Okposo. Kansas City selected Matt Calvert in the Fourth Round. The Barrie Colts selected another member of the Titans/Clippers organization in the Fifth Round, grabbing center Derick Brassard. Division Alignment Changes Moves made to cut down on travel expensesPhilipp Cridland, Sports Reporter HALIFAX, Nova Scotia - NLHS Commissioner Ryan Voshell announced this evening that the division alignments for NLHS3 were being changed, to better reflect the geography of North America and to cut down on travel. Kitchener, Kansas City and Kentucky are moving out of the Adams Division, and London, Quebec, and the much-hated Moncton Mariners are moving in.
