Relocation: USA RepresentativeCleveland, OhioBy: Logan FitzPatrick Arena Facts - Quicken Loans ArenaCapacity - 10,025 w/ curtain, 20,056 w/o it (playoffs) Notable Events - 2007 NBA Finals, 2011 AHL Playoffs, 1997 IHL Semifinals Distance From Moncton - 1,879 Built - 1994 Current Teams - Cleveland Cavaliers (NBA), Lake Erie Monsters (AHL) Cleveland has had pro hockey as early as 1936, when the original AHL Barons won 9 Calder Cups (until they relocated to Jacksonville, Florida, in the early '70s due to the NHL getting the Barons from Oakland). Even today, the Monsters entertain crowds that are among the top 5 in the AHL on a nightly basis. However, it wasn't always like this. The 2001-2006 incarnation of the Barons drew dreadful crowds, sometimes below 1000. Part of this is because the Cavaliers were aggressively marketing, and the Barons were lost in the mix, and were eventually moved to Worcester, MA. (The Monsters would move in in 2007.) Cleveland would be good to expand the Mariners' footprint in the States, as well as snag fans who are thinking of either Chicago or Nashville. It's also a wise decision to improve the fanbase of hockey in Cleveland. The final decision comes tomorrow. Will it be Cleveland or Rimouski?

New Home Found Cleveland Lands Olympians
By: Logan FitzPatrick Olympians Beat Writer
It's finally been found.
After a week of bidding, the players voted Cleveland over Rimouski 19-5 to play in the city on Lake Erie next season.
"This way, we can get more fans, and also don't have to mess up the NLHSF alignment," said GM Justin Fox at a press conference at Quicken Loans Arena, which is slated to host the team.
A name will be chosen next week.

Did you ever consider the name Crusaders, in reference to the old WHA team?
