^Sounds like Dennis Bonvie, who I have several autos from (and have had pizza from his pizza place)
Bonvie played for Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, and Edmonton in the NHL while playing mostly in the AHL with Philadelphia, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton (where he is most famous, 2 stints: 1999-2002 and 2005-2008), Hamilton, Binghamton (ugh), and Hershey (yuck).
He racked up over 4000 penalty minutes and I've seen him in some absolute WARS, including a line brawl in 2006 against Binghamton on St. Patrick's weekend. He also had a big rivalry with Louis Robitaille (known to WBS fans as "Turtle"), who played for Hershey before moving on to Lowell.
Yet, off the ice he was one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. Had a restaurant in Wilkes-Barre named Blue Chip Gourmet, which I never got to eat at before it closed last year, and now has a pizza chain in the WBS area. There's one at PNC Field (or at least there was last year....with the renos, god knows what's gonna happen), and it's sold in our local grocery stores. (It's so tasty....the onion pizza mmmm)
Hard to believe a guy who racked up countless fighting majors and over 4000 PIMs was a really nice guy off the ice.

I don't have any cool autographed stuff, but I do have a limited edition ballcap celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Montreal Forum. Only 2500 were made!

My brother got a limited edition poster of Mario Lemieux celebrating his comeback.....because he was at that game!! Yeah, my mom bought the tickets ahead of time and as time went on they realized he was coming back that night! (and they smacked the Leafs) Cool fact: I've been to every NHL arena, past and present, for the Flyers and Penguins! Excluding WC, though I went to Heinz for that one.

Just my luck....other than the hermits in my close friends group, everyone BUT me is dating someone, including two pairs dating each other.
Oy.

you're better off. That episode of Family Guy where there's a cut scene in which Peter and Quagmire swore off women forever and ended up filthy rich... that's the honest to god truth. Women will absolutely destroy you, physically, financially and emotionally... I love my wife

what a day... I never updated everyone on my roommate Kristen, she passed away Saturday night and was buried today. A very tragic loss of life, she was survived by mother, father, stepmother, stepfather, sister, brother and an assortment of step and half brothers/sisters.
She had just turned 22 and moved out on her own first the first time (with my wife and I), she was a really amazing person who touch so many lives. She aided communities in Mississippi following Katrina, missioned at an orphanage in Guatamala and worked nearly 7 years at a day care so that she could influence children and make their lives better, even turned down an amazing opportunity to work at Yellowstone NP because she didn't want to leave the children in the daycare.
She was buried here in Hendersonville Memory Gardens along with one of her favorite artists Johnny Cash.
Hockey is awesome, and i'm really looking forward to seeing the Preds and Coyotes go at game 3 tonight, but my mind and heart will be somewhere else. This really sucks and shouldn't have happened to someone that awesome, a truly sad day.

Pumped for le weekend for several reasons:
1) has nothing to do with that. Got the new Pennywise album on iTunes about a half hour ago. I'm midway through Tomorrow, and it's quite solid. Zoli isn't better than Jim, but this is probably their best since at least The Fuse. (The first song, All or Nothing, is fucking AMAZING!)
2) Going to a Battle of the Bands for Warped Tour tomorrow with a bunch of friends.
3) St. John's-Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday. Win 15 for #15, the IceCaptain...GO CAPS GO!
4) The fact that it's the fucking weekend lmao

So I had this laptop when NLHS first started, right?
But after a few weeks, the plug broke.
My dad's new worker (the old one quit to be a douche) fixed the plug, so I'm back on it. Runs much faster than my desktop.

Got some more autos on my Jets jersey tonight from icecaps scratches.
Can only name 2 right now: Arturs Kulda (injured) and Jason Gregoire.
