The rumor is true, an English teacher (who played in the NFL, which is funny) had to represent her at central administration. She was going to get laid off anyway....who expected her to get laid, literally?!

So I had a scoping done today (funny how me and Sebastian both had scopings today). The reason for me: no voice for about a month.
What they saw: My postnasal drip was falling into my stomach, splashing up acid. The acid landed on my vocal cords, which caused an ulcer to grow. Fortunately, antibiotics and antacids will do the trick.

Fortunately, antibiotics and antacids will do the trick. My scoping was for intense abdomen pain and 24/7 scudders that lasted 2 months, my scoping came back clean with NO polyps. Bittersweet as I'm "healthy" but still have NO clue what causes the pain and scuds.

CISPA passed in the House.
Time to boot out the theocracy known as the Republican Party, since we know they were the ones who voted "yay".

I also picked up some old hockey cards and figurines while I was at that store today. One of the cards was from a series called "Next In Line", and the two players on the card were Steve Yzerman and Joe Sakic, lol. Now they're both Hall-of-Famers, or soon to be, in Sakic's case.

Maybe it's just Next in Line for the Hall lol my brother has a hand-autographed Mario Lemieux 1996 All-Star Game card. It's a long story.

my hockey card collection is the BEST
of course I collected myself as a child, but there were also so many other kids in the neighborhood who collected, and on top of that several adults who had collected as children. Well one of the kids who lived across the alley was just never into sports, but his stepdad was a big hockey fan. One day while talking hockey in the alley he says "you know what, wait here a minute". He runs into his house and comes back with a box... "Clint won't ever appreciate these, you should have them" and hands me his childhood collection which basically covered '74-'80
From his collection I got original Lafleur and Dryden cards, Tony Esposito, Darryl Sittler and so many others. I've got Colorado Rockies cards, no rookie Gretzky, but I do have an "Edmonton Oilers Season Leaders" from Gretzky's rookie year with him on front.
Then there's a gap until about '88-'96 when I seriously collected. Got my own gems in there, Brodeur, Jagr, Selanne rookies to name a few.
I can't believe how fortunate I was to receive such an awesome gift from someone that I barely knew.

At that store, there's a Chris Higgins Canadiens card with a piece of jersey that catches my eye right now, along with a Cristobal Huet mini stick.

I have the complete 90-91 Hartford Whalers season set. I got it for like 50 cents when I was 7.
