A terrific game to cap off a great day of football. If you don't like football after watching today's games, you never will.

Italy won yesterday. I have a friend who is rooting for them, so that is my rooting interest. 1 of every 2 Argentines is of Italian descent. He put it this way...
Se l'Argentina gioca con l'italia, e un piccolo dilemma per solo un attimo. Il cuore sempre segue la patria.
If Argentina plays with Italy, and a small dilemma for just a moment. The heart always follows the homeland.

Seriously doubt the US will annihilate Ghana, but I agree on the other two. I want Iran to beat Nigeria because of my Rubin guys though

I actually think the odds of the US going pointless in the WC are greater than the US winning 3-0 tomorrow. I'll be in the air for that game, but I get to watch the game between my fatherland and Portugal. That Messi goal was brilliant, but RVP's header still tops the list for me so far.
Ghana 2 - US 1 Germany 2 - Portugal 1 Nigeria 1 - Iran 0

I have to agree with you on RVP's goal. Simply spectacular.

I'll take it. Sami should have scored.

Pepe was understandable mad about Müller embellishing, but the head-but was dumb. USA got just some serious help.

If Klose doesn't get to 15 or 16 Müller will!
Jogi should take advantage of Portugal and sub in Klose in the second half.
