Never a bad time for a 6 game win streak, but coming in the playoffs?? I'll take that every year!
Every season there is a a player or two on the lower lines who step up and surprise me, last season it was Ryane Clowe, and so far this year it's David Legwand with 6 points in 6 games. And an honorable mention to this point for Sergei Kostitsyn with 3 points in 6 games after scoring just 14 points in the entire regular season, he has just about doubled his production in the playoffs.

Series equalized (oh god, I sound like Amon). Lehner back in form, Nielsen with an OT winner.

2nd and 3rd lines are putting up good numbers. Changing up the lines to ignite Sid and Stammer.

2nd and 3rd lines continue to do the work. Anderson saves the day to push the Boots to the brink.

Don't think I've been more anxious for a sim as I am right now. Hoping for our first pro series win as a franchise, and a sweep would be fantastic.

Hand shake with the Bootleggers, another good season by the Boots and I'm sure they'll be right back at it in the postseason next year. They pretty much shut down Crosby and Stamkos right up until the last shot.

How the F does David Legwand have 8 points in 8 games in the playoffs? That is centering the 4th line... his linemates are Simon Gagne who has a lone assist in 8 games, Lennart Petrell who is scoreless in 3 and Sergei Kostitsyn who had 2 points in the 5 games he skated on that line.
It's always someone stepping up for the Legion in the playoffs, of course the first line is quietly putting up big numbers and Rinne has been pretty good, but Legwand has to be the story so far.

Its the playoffs! If you had told me at the beginning of my series that Shane Doan would lead my team offensively and put up as many points as Crosby and Stamkos combined I'd think you were crazy. Guy has 6 points in four games after putting up around 34 in the regular season.
