Game 7 on Friday... another intense playoff round with a trip to the Finals on the line. Of course that means that the Finals will start on Sunday.
We've discussed the offseason timeline a few times, and I think it's a little more clear now. I'd like to spread out the events over the course of the offseason and holding one event every two weeks seems like a pretty good calendar to me...
The Cup Finals will end between the 15th and 20th. Awards will come out shortly after that and NLHS3 will be wrapped up by the 24th.
Dispersal Draft would run from July 1 - July 6
Expansion Draft would run from July 15 - July 20
Entry Draft would run from July 29 - August 3
Free Agency would run from August 12 - August 17
Training Camp (rerates) would run from August 26 - August 31
Preseason runs through September
Regular season Starts in October!
Of course these things are always subject to change depending on whats going on with me personally. Most of you should know that i've got a baby due in the second week of September, so there is probably a few days there that i'm offline.
Also this calendar would mean that we need to find our two expansion teams by about July 10, so a little more than a month from now.

Tough loss for the Pistols too....just 50 secs from an anything-can-happen OT.

A shutout for Matt Hackett and a team that's just a year old has a shot to dethrone the defending champions!!
Congrats to the Pistols on their victory and props to the Jets for a terrific series!

The Dallas Pistols should be an inspiration to any expansion team in or entering NLHS. Carter stuck with his team, made some deals, and put them in the finals in their second season. Even after the Legion sweep them in 4, it will still be a great success for Dallas!
Seriously though, the Legion won the first two games 3-2 and 5-3... but the last meeting of the season was 5-1 Pistols 8O and that was while the Legion were dominating, going on a 8 game win streak after the loss. So this final should be very interesting.

I really thought it was destiny for the Jets and Legion to meet this season, first because of the Suter deal and then just because our teams were so similar this season in the path that we took to the playoffs. But I guess not, maybe next year though. You've done some great things with your roster Roman and the Jets should continue to be a factor year after year!

Yeah I was sure my Jets would have gone on to meet your Legion and do battle for the Stanley Cup.. but oh well dang it.. at least I should be proud of my team... hopefully next year will be better and I can improve my team some more but will see what I can do to fix some things.. ahhhh oh man such a letdown and I was so nervous to see the result of Game 7.. ohhh... but thank you for the praises, Ryan.. very appreciative of it, man... good luck in the Finals vs the Pistols!

Absolutely ridiculous 2nd period today, Obviously in a wide open offensive shootout, the Pistols were ahead... Legion settled things down defensively in the 3rd and took the victory in game 1.
Icing on the cake: Glencross scored his 50th goal and 100th point with the Legion!

If that's the way this final is gonna be, it's gonna kick some major ass!

A split at home, so we're gonna have to steal one in Dallas... can't really complain about today, we had about 8 minutes to score the tying goal and couldn't get the job done. Still confident in adding another cup to the Legion trophy case!

3 points for Tavares in a big win today, leaves him just 5 points away from Briere's single season record for points by a Legionnaire. Of course Tavares has done it in about 10 games less ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Halfway Home!!!!
