Pittsburgh rips us off again, no Tangradi or Broadway Joe...at least we get Kuhnhackl, Morrow, and Despres.

Him, Beaulieu and Emelin are going to make a great defensive corps for the Titans!

If anyone is following the KHL this lockout, who will you be rooting for?
I will be cheering for Dinamo Minsk.

This damn lockout has convinced me to buy AHL tickets. I am going to see the Oklahoma City Barons play the Rockford Icehogs on March 9th! Oklahoma City is a good distance and it will be the first hockey game for my 3 girls. Yes, I even convinced my wife to go! Icehogs are the ones I want to see because they are the Blackhawks affiliate. I wish they played them earlier in the season, but on the plus side I likely won't have to drive through a blizzard to get there.
Going to a Blackhawks game in Chicago (and dragging my 3 girls) is still the ultimate destination. Have to win Powerball to have enough dough for tickets to that! It's definitely on the bucket list -- as is taking the girls to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game!

I'd love to go to a Mooseheads game, but I don't know when I'd be able to do that.

Joe Morrow is a BEAST. Saw him tonight in the WB. He was easily the Pens' best defensemen of the six they dressed (Dylan Reese, Brian Strait, Alex "Shitty" Grant, Phillip "Not Physical Despite My Dad" Samuelsson, and JOEY JOEY JOEY Mormina were the others). He'd play the point with Benn Ferriero. Stan Galiev is also quite impressive, tipping home the tying goal from a bad angle. The Bears won, 3-2. Holtby was horrid out of the gate, but they were replacing him with Dany Sabourin anyway. Tangradi's skating, formerly his main weakness, was MUCH improved over the summer. I've never seen him skate better in the three years I've watched him. View from my seats (Note the new tron). It's great to be back:

I wish I was near an AHL franchise.

Same here. I'm just over an hour away from Halifax, the closest junior team, which isn't a commute I could make every day, and the nearest AHL team is a 10 1/2 hour drive to Portland, Maine.
