Trading cam ward was a mistake and a half. Especially with Miller's history..... Mariners - failed and pretty much run out of town Herbalists - benchwarmer slot open, he filled it Legion - hope.....that he doesn't allow 6 goals a game Wranglers - We traded Rinne for THIS?!?!

Monday is gonna be interesting.
Can the Mutiny, Herbalists, and Wanderers lengthen their seasons and set up a winner-take-all showdown?

Bad news, though, for those three:
There's only been one Game 7 in NLHS's brief existence. In it, Winnipeg hammered Kitchener 5-2 to earn the right to face Quebec in the Stanley Cup Final - and got Cam Ward'd in 6.

I believe the Herbalists held a 3 games to 1 lead in the series as well if memory serves me right, so collapses are nothing new in Kitchener lol. Also, Herbalists actually had a 3rd period comeback last game versus the Hornets so we're (Herbalists) are fully prepared to get bounced now after that rarity lol.

Don't forget the Rangers blowing that 3-0 lead on Windsor in 2010 lol The Hornets kinda remind me of those Jets - one long hot streak got them into the playoffs. And once they get there, they make the most of it.

I'm currently formulating a workable salary cap and free agency model. Won't be in NLHS3, but probably NLHS4, i'll have to run A LOT of numbers first before deciding on anything, salary cap is way too dangerous to go into without 100% certainty. But I think everyone will be happy with it once it's in place. Free agency will be the biggest thing though, I won't make a cap that's too difficult to stay under, and Free agency will be similar to the re-rates process. Each team will have a certain number of offers they can make each season based on their finish in the standings. And instead of teams offering a salary, each free agent has a set "Expected Salary", and teams just use one of their offers to sign that player. If no one signs at the expected salary, the player gets a lower expected salary in the next round. RFA's will automatically get a 10% raise each season unless their team decides not to re-sign them.
